Pair outcome metrics with a restrained set of drivers. Add definitions and freshness indicators where ambiguity would be expensive. Avoid decorative numbers with no expected response.
Review the dashboard with its users after several cycles. Remove views that do not support discussion, and investigate recurring questions that the current design cannot answer.
